The Trail Conservancy (TTC) is partnering with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) and the City of Austin Art in Public Places (AIPP) program to prepare an Arts and Culture plan for the Butler Trail to contribute to the space and elevate the user experience, while not overwhelming, distracting, or complicating the environment.
Santa lands on the Butler Trail each year, letting kids of all ages know if they've made the Nice List. Trail users can stop in for complimentary photos and holiday music to kick off a season of cheer!
The Trees of the Trail scavenger hunt offers a new way to explore the Roy and Ann Butler Trail! Find clues posted at various historical and notable features of the Trail; there, follow the instructions to discover unique trees, learning about Austin history and native plant life along the way. Â
