Restoration Coordinator

Join The Trail Conservancy as a Restoration Coordinator as a part of our Park Operations team on the Butler Trail. This role works to implement habitat restoration, natural area management, and volunteer engagement initiatives. The Coordinator also assists with data collection and long-term restoration planning to ensure sustainable stewardship of the Trail’s natural resources. Ecological Restoration Intern | Spring 2026

Join The Trail Conservancy this spring as an Ecological Restoration Intern and play a hands-on role in protecting and restoring the Butler Trail at Lady Bird Lake. You'll lead volunteer groups, coordinate cleanups, and work directly in Austin’s rain gardens, shorelines, and green spaces to support ecological restoration efforts. This paid position offers flexible hours, meaningful fieldwork, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on one of Austin’s most iconic natural areas. TEMPO on the Trail 2025-26
Request for Qualifications: Artists

TEMPO on the Trail, a temporary art exhibition in partnership with the City’s Art in Public Places program, was the first project to launch under The Trail Conservancy’s Arts + Culture Plan. Combining art and nature, TEMPO on the Trail creates an outdoor gallery for all to enjoy.

For the 2025-26 iteration of TEMPO on the Trail, 8–10 artists or artist teams will be selected through a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process to create original, temporary works along the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake.
