The Trail Conservancy is thrilled to host some of Austin’s most loved musicians on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail for popup musical performances every Saturday. With Music on the Trail, you can discover new music, hear a song from an Austin favorite, or enjoy a live soundtrack to your morning Trail routine.
Program History
October 2020 was the inaugural month of what is now an ongoing series and was dedicated to Black musicians in Austin. As an organization committed to DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), we believe representation and visibility matter. The music series is intended to spotlight local artists on the Trail while promoting and supporting Black Austin musicians. We are continuously working to make the Trail a welcoming space for all of the communities we serve. The performers were selected in partnership with a committee of local arts and entertainment influencers and experts.
Our Music on the Trail series brings Austin’s most beloved musicians and artists to the Trail for pop-up concerts each Saturday morning. The series features two musicians each weekend (with breaks in both summer and winter due to extreme weather). This program is currently presented by H-E-B, with secondary sponsorship opportunities available.
