The Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail is more than a trail - it is the heart of Austin. As the stewards of this beloved parkland, The Trail Conservancy relies on the generosity of those who love the Trail. We receive no operating funds from the City of Austin - every restoration project, every enhancement, every program is made possible by people like you.
By becoming a member of The Trail Conservancy, you’re helping protect, connect, and enhance 10 miles of cherished Trail and nearly 300 acres of parkland in the heart of our city. Together we can honor the vision of those who came before and ensure that the Trail remains a natural sanctuary for future generations.

Members of The Trail Conservancy receive a 10% discount on in-store purchases at participating public land organizations across the nation, thanks to the Public Lands Alliance Reciprocal Discount Program. This expanding network connects parks, conservancies, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to public lands throughout the country. Members can save money while supporting the places they love by simply showing their membership at participating retail locations.

Creating opportunities for young Austinites to connect, whether you love being active, outdoors, or simply part of this community space
Providing a platform for members to help shape the future of the Trail and The Trail Conservancy
Engaging members in hands-on volunteerism, fundraising, and local advocacy
Cultivating a community that invests in and cares for one of Austin’s most iconic outdoor spaces
