Arts + Culture Committee

The Arts + Culture Committee provides creative direction and oversight of TTC’s Arts + Culture Program. They advise in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing arts and culture programs and support outreach to Austin’s arts and culture community. The committee is chaired by a member of TTC’s board, with the majority of members being arts professionals from a cross-section of arts disciplines. At least one member will be from the City of Austin Art in Public Places and one from the Parks and Recreation Department. The committee meets quarterly

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee guides and holds The Trail Conservancy accountable for integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of work. A current board of directors member chairs the committee and comprises additional board, staff, and non-board members. Staff members of this committee meet monthly, and the larger advisory group meets at least four times yearly.

Development Committee

The Development Committee supports all development and fundraising efforts of The Trail Conservancy. The committee is chaired by a TTC board member and managed by the Chief Development Officer. The board chair and a finance committee member also sit on the committee, as well as the executive director and other board and non-board members. This committee meets monthly.

Park Operations Committee

The Park Operations Committee is responsible for developing and implementing criteria by which projects are selected, identifying needs and opportunities, prioritizing projects, implementing and monitoring. The committee is chaired by a current board of directors member and comprised of additional board and non-board members. This committee meets six times a year, every other month.
