About the Artist

Grace Rowland

Grace Rowland is an Austin-based singer, songwriter, and musician who has been making music since 2005. After studying vocal education at Texas State University, she began writing and performing while touring with her first band, The Blue Hit. She went on to collaborate with a variety of musical projects, including Middlespoon and The Brother Brothers, before co-founding Austin psych-folk band The Deer, which has been recognized by the Austin Music Awards as one of the city’s Best Performing Folk Bands. In addition to her work with The Deer, Grace has performed and recorded with artists including Alejandro Escovedo, MilkDrive, Bayonne’s Roger Sellers, Abram Shook, and others. Today, she continues to perform, tour, and create music from her home in South Austin.
