What’s happening at the Fannie Davis Gazebo? 🛠️✨🪷 TTC and @austincityparks are teaming up to make repairs to this historic structure and refresh the surrounding landscaping.

Over the next four weeks, the City of Austin will take care of lead abatement so that TTC’s preservation carpenters can safely clean, repair, and repaint the gazebo.

Last fall, TTC cleaned out the pond, planted new beds, and committed a year of landscaping maintenance beyond our current responsibilities.

Built by the Austin Chapter of Women in Construction in 1969, the Fannie Davis Gazebo was recently designated a historic landmark by Austin City Council. Visit the restored gazebo when it reopens on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail just west of South 1st St.
