Join The Trail Conservancy and TEMPO on the Trail artist, Vy Ngo, for a poetry reading celebrating our nation’s upcoming 250th birthday and connecting our diverse community in nature. This is a free, family-friendly public event at Auditorium Shores at the “All Boats Bloom” art installation site.
What to expect:
- Readings of original works from six local Austin poets
- On-site voter registration with the League of Women Voters of the Austin area
- “Voting” sign artwork from local artist, Angry Cloud
- Free coffee from Desnudo
Getting to the Event
Poetry for the People is hosted at Vy Ngo’s art piece, All Boats Bloom at the far West side of Auditorium Shores. A small parking lot is located at Vic Mathias Park, and ample street parking is available in the surrounding area.
