Willard Davis is an ultra-marathoner who has been running and training on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail since 1985. A true inspiration and history maker, Willard was the first African American to complete the Trans-American Race— an extraordinary 3,422-mile, 84-day run from Los Angeles to New York! He says he loves the Trail because it’s a place where people can come to “better ourselves physically, spiritually, and mentally.”
