Matching Programs

Supercharge your contribution by leveraging your company’s generosity! We determine membership level based on the combined contribution of you and your company. We have already completed the paperwork necessary for the companies listed below and we are happy to assist you in getting TTF approved in your company’s system.

Matching Gifts:
Many employers match gifts to approved organizations made by their employees. Matching funds are usually available for gifts of cash and/or stock.

Payroll Deduction:
Payroll deduction makes it easy to give! We currently receive funds through payroll deduction from Microsoft, National Instruments (via United Way), Intel (via United Way) and Dell.

Endowment Fund

We are accepting donations for our Endowment Fund at the Austin Community Foundation. Endowment funds will assure the long term maintenance of our projects at the Trail.

Planned Giving

It is possible to leave a gift to the Trail upon your passing. This can be accomplished in a number of ways from the very simple to the highly complex.We can work with you and your financial and legal advisors to explore the type, timing, and size of gift that best fits your situation.

Please consider including The Trail Foundation in your will or as a beneficiary of your life insurance or IRA.

Gifts of Stock

We can accept gifts of stock and are happy to work with you and your financial advisor to determine what works for you.

If you are transferring the stock from your account to ours, your financial institution will need the following address:

Please enclose a letter stating that you wish to transfer ownership to The Trail Foundation and sign the letter exactly as your name appears on the certificate. If the certificate is issued in more than one name, all owners must sign exactly as their name appears on the certificate. Do not sign the certificate itself! Once we receive the certificate we will send you a stock power that will be used to make the certificate negotiable.
