Join us this Saturday, April 27th from 9AM - 1PM for Holly Shore’s second annual BioBlitz event, coinciding with the City Nature Challenge(@citnatchallenge)! This event will be a collaboration between local experts and community members to create a comprehensive list of the site’s existing biodiversity.

Each hour will focus on specific categories of flora, fauna, funga, and more. Volunteer groups will be led by a local subject matter expert to help guide participants in their search and to assist in the identification of observations. Come meet other nature enthusiasts and learn more about Austin’s ecosystems! Link in our bio for more info.

This past Friday, TTC teamed up with @rowingdock and @epicsup for Austin’s largest land and lake Earth Day clean-up! With the incredible effort of over 1,900 volunteers, we cleared a whopping 14,300 POUNDS of trash from Lady Bird Lake and the surrounding green spaces. Thank you to all our volunteers for making a huge impact!

TTC is enhancing the Trail in the Holly neighborho

TTC is enhancing the Trail in the Holly neighborhood with three projects from the Holly Shores Vision Plan: a play area, trail improvements, and a Trailhead. Join us on the front lawn of the Camacho Activity Center on May 11th from 9 AM to 12 PM to provide input. Enjoy free family-friendly activities will include fishing skills sessions, polaroid photo sessions, and breakfast tacos!
