Make Our Mission a Part of Yours

The Trail Conservancy has several sponsorship opportunities throughout the year. Companies, individuals, businesses, and foundations can sponsor an event, programming, ecological restoration, or capital projects. Trail Sponsorships help to support, protect, enhance, and connect the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake for the benefit of all.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities

Earth Day Cleanup
April 24, 2026

We are excited to team up again with the Rowing Dock for Austin’s largest land and lake Earth Day clean-up! Austin is known for its beautiful green spaces and natural attractions like the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail and Lady Bird Lake. We are all grateful for the opportunity to live and work in Austin, and it’s time to give back to the spaces that provide us with so much.

Moonlight Margarita Run
June 4, 2026

The 23rd Annual Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita Run combines Austin’s favorite things – running and margaritas! The annual fun-run-raiser combines TTC’s profile of active living and having fun. Participants can run, walk, or skip through the 5K race, ending in a celebration with Maudie’s Tex-Mex eats and drinks at the finish line.

Twilight on the Trail
October 18, 2026

The Trail Conservancy’s biggest fundraising event of the year, Twilight on the Trail, is our easygoing take on the traditional gala. The event highlights everything you love about the Butler Trail alongside food and beverage, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and more – all while overlooking the beauty of the Trail itself.

Programming Sponsorship Opportunities

Music on the Trail

Our Music on the Trail series brings Austin’s most beloved musicians and artists to the Trail for pop-up concerts Wednesday nights at the Rainey Street Trailhead. The series features 6 musicians each spring and fall season with breaks in both summer and winter due to extreme weather.

Arts + Culture

The Arts + Culture Plan for the Butler Trail is a transformative initiative to enrich our community by integrating art and cultural programming into our beloved Trail. This program empowers local artists, amplifies diverse voices, and creates vibrant, inclusive spaces that reflect our city's rich heritage.

TrailFit

TrailFit is a monthly wellness series designed to encourage physical and mental well-being while building community along the Butler Trail. This program offers Trail users free, guided fitness activities such as yoga, meditation, boot camps, group walks, and more.

EXPLORE Scavenger Hunt

Our Scavenger Hunts are directed toward children and families, encouraging outdoor activity. Participants utilize printable and virtual materials to explore the Butler Trail looking for QR code markers. Prizes are awarded to those completing the hunts.

Holidays on the Trail

Celebrate the holidays across the Butler Trail with holiday-themed popups like Santa on the Trail, Trail or Treat, and Egg Hunts. Popups will include opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get in the holiday spirit with photo opportunities, music, and activities.

Goats on the Trail

Throughout the year, we bring in a special team of eco-friendly landscapers to the Trail—our hardworking herd of goats! These adorable, hungry helpers munch their way through overgrown vegetation and tackle tough-to-reach areas and pesky poison ivy.

Project Sponsorship Opportunities

Eastside Family Garden & Lakefront Trail Park

The Trail Conservancy is preparing to implement various elements proposed in Austin Parks and Recreation's Holly Shores/Edward Rendon Sr. Park Vision Plan, which designed a vision for revitalized open space that integrates redevelopment of the decommissioned Holly Street Power Plant site with existing open space.
