Explore the Butler Trail

Through parkland development, community programming, and daily restoration and maintenance, TTC works to ensure the 10-mile Trail and nearly 300 acres of surrounding parkland remain a natural sanctuary in the heart of Austin.

Experience More on the Butler Trail
TTC offers free programming all along the Trail, from live music performances to guided bird walks and public art explorations. Whether you’re unwinding with music, discovering local wildlife, or immersing yourself in art, there’s always something new to experience on the Trail you love.
Trail Programs
Protecting Our Green Space
Nature and conservation programs connect riparian corridors and preserve numerous protected areas along the shoreline. Learn how we are protecting the ecosystem along the Trail's 300 acres of park land.
Restoration Work
Creating Spaces for All
Since 2003, The Trail Conservancy has invested more than $25 million into parkland development to provide amenities and features that improve the Trail user experience and safety.
