Welcoming Rikki Hardy to The Trail Conservancy as Chief Development Officer

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: Rikki Hardy has joined us as our new Chief Development Officer!

Rikki brings more than a decade of experience building lasting relationships, championing community impact, and stewarding transformational giving in Austin. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Donor Relations & Community Engagement at HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians), where she led major giving programs, corporate partnerships, and fundraising efforts for signature events that have become staples in Austin’s music community. A Central Texas native with a heart for Austin and a deep appreciation for its culture, Rikki has always found purpose in connecting people to the causes they care about most.

And that’s exactly what she’s here to do at The Trail Conservancy.

As TTC continues to care for the 10 miles and 300 acres of parkland of the Ann & Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail, Rikki will help lead our fundraising efforts to support major projects—like the revitalization of Holly Shores and reimagining the Seaholm Intake Facility—while also building a healthy and sustainable giving program to ensure this cherished space thrives for generations to come.

Rikki’s nonprofit career was inspired by her time volunteering for HAAM, and her passion for community-building was influenced by one of her personal heroes, Austin’s own blues legend Clifford Antone. We know that her love for Austin—and the Trail—runs deep. In fact, she already considers it her favorite place to recharge, reflect, and reconnect.

Please join us in giving Rikki a warm welcome. We’re lucky to have her energy, vision, and commitment as part of our team. And we can’t wait to see how she helps write the next chapter of this beloved space—together with all of you.

Welcome to The Trail, Rikki!
