Open House: Programming for the Butler Trail and Seaholm Waterfront

November 7 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

New community engagement focuses exclusively on shaping future public programming for the Butler Trail and the future Seaholm Waterfront, and we invite community input to guide activities that are engaging, educational, and uniquely Austin.

The Seaholm Intake Building (801 W Cesar Chavez St) is an iconic, historic building set right on the Trail that offers a world of possibility. In partnership with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, The Trail Conservancy will undertake a renovation of this building and its grounds to create Seaholm Waterfront, a unique space for everyone who lives, works, and travels in Austin. Phase 2 renovations could include a cafe, overhead doors, a front porch, indoor restrooms, a lake overlook, a front lawn, seating areas, and planting areas.

We invite you to join The Trail Conservancy for an open house inside the Seaholm Intake Facility on Saturday, November 7, from 9- 11 a.m. to give your input on programming at Seaholm and around the Butler Trail.
