The Trail Foundation’s 15th Anniversary Birthday Party

FREE family-friendly celebration with live music, yoga sessions, birthday cake, a petting zoo & much more

 

WHAT: Join The Trail Foundation as it celebrates its 15th anniversary with a fun, family-friendly Birthday Party!

The free outdoor event will feature refreshments and birthday cake; live entertainment from Austin musician Mr. Will and a festive march led by the Eastside Memorial Panther Drumline; family yoga sessions; children’s activities including a Tiny Tails Petting Zoo, bubbles, and wildflower seed ball crafts; TTF 15th anniversary swag giveaways, and more.

Grab a picnic blanket and some friends or family members, and join us at Festival Beach along the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail for this special community-wide celebration.

WHERE: Festival Beach, 2101 Jesse E Segovia St. (Parking is available on the street and in the public parking lots underneath i-35.)

WHEN: Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

HOW: This event is FREE and open to the public. Free parking is available on the street, and in the public parking lot under i-35.

BACKGROUND: In honor of its 15th anniversary, The Trail Foundation announced 15 new projects to be completed on the Trail over the next five years as well as three 15th anniversary events that are open to the public and will be held throughout the year. The Birthday Party on April 7 will be The Trail Foundation’s inaugural 15th anniversary event, followed by the Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita Run and Party on June 7, and Twilight on the Trail on Oct. 28.
