Trail Restoration Tuesdays 

Help The Trail Conservancy team with our ecological restoration efforts on the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail! Trail Restoration Tuesdays focus on removing plant species that grow aggressively and do not promote biodiversity in our habitats using shovels and soil knives.

Event Details

Where to meet: Event locations vary depending on where help is needed most. Registered volunteers will receive an email with the exact meeting point and parking details before the event

What to Bring and Wear: We’ll provide gloves and tools—you just need to come prepared with:

• • • Closed-toed shoes
    • Long pants
    • Sun protection (sunglasses and a hat)
    • A full water bottle

Caution: Event locations will be in wilder, less manicured areas of the Trail. Expect slightly rugged terrain and potential poison ivy.  Poison ivy wipes will be available on-site. If you are hyperallergenic to poison ivy, please consider one of our Wednesday Workday Volunteer events instead.
