In the fall of 2024, The Trail Conservancy held a second round of community open houses, small groups, popped up at neighborhood events, presented to neighborhood associations, and interviewed neighbors. We discussed early concept designs for the play area, trailhead, and trail enhancements originally identified in the Holly Shores/Edward Rendon Sr. Park at Festival Beach. Our team heard from 267 people in person and 356 through an online survey, with 30% of respondents from the 78702 zip code.
