Lakeshore Bricks: The last day to order bricks for a Spring 2025 installation is December 31, 2024. All bricks purchased between January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024 will be installed in Spring 2025.

Lakeshore Bricks opened in 2021, with the first wave of installations occurring in the Summer of 2022. The area is located at S Lakeshore Blvd, just off Riverside Drive. Bricks are still available in this area, with bricks installed yearly in the Spring.
Locating your Lakeshore brick
The newest brick location opened in December 2022 at the newly renovated Butler Shores Exercise Area at the NW corner of Lamar Blvd and Riverside Drive.
Locating your Butler Exercise brick:
You can specify whether you would like your brick placed at the Lakeshore Park or Butler Shores exercise area, but not a specific location within each area. Bricks are installed once a year per location.
We will notify you after the brick has been installed with a diagram of the space broken into “Zones,” and we will tell you in which zone you may locate your brick.
es! If you want us to notify them before installing the brick, please email development@thetrailconservancy.org. We can also provide a printable certificate if you’re giving your brick as a gift! Once you’ve filled out the “Brick Notificant” information in the order form, we will email it after it’s installed.
All proceeds raised from brick and bench dedications benefit The Trail Conservancy’s efforts to improve The Trail.
TTC diligently maintains the areas surrounding the commemorative brick plots; however, we are unable to re-engrave or replace existing bricks, as they do not qualify for permanent recognition per the City of Austin code. The City has a threshold of $25,000 for permanent recognition in parkland, including the Butler Trail.
If the area of the brick is obstructed by overgrowth, debris, or any other obstructions, please provide the exact location and we can coordinate clean-up of the area.
