In partnership with local fitness startup Card.io, this dynamic one-million-mile challenge invites the Austin running and walking community to unite for the ultimate Butler Trail “turf war.” Using a gamified tracker, participants will compete to see which running, walking, or corporate group truly “runs” the map and the Butler Trail.
Volunteer with the TTC team by planting native plant species in regions between the Butler Trail and Lady Bird Lake as a part of the City of Austin Watershed Protection Department's Lady Bird Lake Shoreline Stewardship Program.

Volunteer with the TTC team and learn about rain gardens, their importance to our Trail, and how to plant and maintain them. The Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration.
