Trek the Trail
completing the adventure book
Each location outlined in the passport corresponds with an ‘activity’ for the family to do. The student should read the activity and record their answer to complete that adventure. The passport is designed to be completed at your leisure – all in one day or broken into smaller day trips to the parks. Once all of the activities have been completed, make sure to fill out the Student Information on the book’s cover and have the student turn the book into their PE teacher at [SCHOOL].Â
Deadline: To be eligible to win prizes, the Adventure Passport must be turned in by November 8. Prizes: Students who complete all five adventures will receive a $50 H-E-B gift card and a TTC Activity Pack. The prizes will be distributed by November 22.
The boardwalk comprises several bridge segments between Congress Avenue and Pleasant Valley Drive on the south side of the lake. It is easiest to access from:Â
Congress Avenue: Paid parking options at the Austin Statesman site.
East Riverside Drive: Parking here is limited. Cidercade Austin is the closest business to this entrance.
Near Riverside Drive & S. Lakeshore Blvd: Free street parking along several side streets and along Lakeshore Blvd.
The mural is located under the south side of the IH-35 overpass. The easiest way to get to this mural is to park on Nash Hernandez Senior Road and take the pedestrian walkway across the river.
