Maraca Bench Tour
We’re taking our first Maraca bench on a trip around the Trail! Find the Maraca bench out on the Trail from February through September 2025.
Take a stroll, break a sweat, or get to know the local art, flora, and fauna. There are so many ways to explore the Trail be it on foot, on wheels, or by the shoreline. Located in the heart of Austin’s bustling downtown, this incredible green space is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
Runners and cyclists love running and riding on the Ann and Roy Butler trail because of its unbeatable location and beauty.
The natural areas along the Trail provide a balanced environment for plants and animals. Learn about the local ecology with TTC.
TTC hosts volunteer days, a fundraising gala, a margarita run, and educational opportunities throughout the year.

On the first Monday of March, April, and May enjoy a FREE workout at Auditorium Shores with TruFusion Austin. The fitness experts at TruFusion will provide a different class each month: Barre Fusion, Yoga, and Pilates Fusion.
Join us on every other Wednesday to repot, water, maintain, and care of native plants. No previous tree or potting experience is required.  TTC will provide materials, gloves, and extra water for volunteers.
Shake up your Wednesday nights with Music on the Trail—a free live music series right on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. Every week, the Rainey Street Trailhead lawn transforms into Austin’s coolest outdoor concert spot, featuring incredible local musicians.
Learn about public art opportunities around Austin and speak with representatives from the City of Austin's Art in Public Places program, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and The Trail Conservancy.
Volunteer with the TTC team and learn about rain gardens, their importance to our Trail, and how to plant and maintain them. The Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration.
