Join local experts and community members in a collaborative effort to unveil the rich biodiversity of our site at Holly Shores.
A bioblitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time, usually 24 hours. Participants can use identification guides, microscopes, and apps like iNaturalist to help identify species.
Bioblitzes are important because they help document the biodiversity of an area, provide an opportunity for people to learn about local biodiversity, and help build community enthusiasm for nature!
