History:

October 2020 was the inaugural month of what will be an ongoing series, and was dedicated to Black musicians in Austin. As an organization committed to DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), we believe that representation and visibility matter. The music series is intended to spotlight local artists on the Trail while promoting and supporting Black Austin musicians. We are continuously working to make the Trail a welcoming space for all of the communities we serve. The performers were selected in partnership with a committee of local arts and entertainment influencers and experts.
