Bird life is abundant around Lady Bird Lake. But, do you know how to identify them? This is an identification guide to the birds most commonly seen.
Cornell University and the National Audubon Society maintain an interactive database of bird observations across the U.S., and Lady Bird Lake is one of their hotspots. Use the eBird summary to see a list of actual bird sightings around Lady Bird Lake. The eBird website also provides interactive online access to a database of bird sightings across the United States and Canada. The database comprises checklists of observations reported by volunteers.
You can help advance bird science by reporting your bird sightings to the eBird project. You must register with ebirds to report sightings, but it is simple and free. If you want to be part of this effort, you can add your observations to the database.
