It’s time to make every mile count for the Ann & Roy Butler Hike & Bike Trail with The Trail Conservancy’s 1 Million for $1 Million Challenge! In partnership with local fitness startup Card.io, this dynamic one-million-mile challenge invites the Austin running and walking community to unite for the ultimate Butler Trail “turf war.” Using a gamified tracker, participants will compete to see which running, walking, or corporate group truly “runs” the map and the Butler Trail.
Here’s how it works: Head to our secure fundraising site in to register yourself or your team and kick off your fundraising efforts. Then, download the Card.io app to join the challenge, log your miles, track your success, and have fun with some friendly competition. Together, we’re racing to raise $1,000,000 to support our beloved Trail—one step at a time!
Start preparing your peer-to-peer fundraising in by registering for 1 Million for $1 Million, building your team, and gathering your pledges. Once February hits, it’s time to compete! Download the Card.io app, find your team, and log your miles to see who “runs” the Butler Trail.
Don’t want to log your miles in Card.io? No problem! When you register and make a pledge, you can still fundraise for the Trail without the app.
Once you register yourself or your team, you will receive a confirmation email with a personalized link to your fundraising page. Share your page with your friends and family, encouraging them to pledge a donation for every mile you walk or run in February!
