Shoreline Stewardship

Join The Trail Conservancy in our efforts to restore the shoreline of Lady Bird Lake to a functional ecosystem. In partnership with the city of Austin’s Watershed Protection Department,  Shoreline Stewardship events focus on invasive species management, native plant seeding and planting, and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure. Join TTC’s Park Operations team every Saturday this fall to spread native seeds along the managed habitat of the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail– no experience necessary!

What to Bring and Wear: We’ll provide gloves and tools—you just need to come prepared with:

• • • Closed-toed shoes
    • Long pants
    • Sun protection (sunglasses and a hat)
    • A full water bottle
