Enhancing The Trail
The Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike trail offers amenities at many stopping points. Visitors of the trail can access clean bathrooms, cool drinking fountains, interactive maps, and much more.
Drinking Fountains
Water fountains for people and pups are located at several stopping points along the Trail.
Foot Showers
Remove debris from your feet or cool off after a run or walk by using any of the foot showers found along the Trail.
Restrooms
Plenty of clean, restored, beautifully designed restrooms can be found on the trail. All restrooms are ADA accessible.
Pedestrian Bridges
Shared-use bridges give cyclists and pedestrians easy access to the north and south sides of the Trail at Lady Bird Lake.
Bikeways
The Trail provides beautifully maintained bikeways that offer cyclists a safe, low-stress path around the Lake.
Benches
Take a moment to rest, contemplate, or observe the vibrant surroundings at any of the Trail’s reclaimed bald cypress benches.
Parking
It’s easy to get to the Trail. Ample parking can be found along the trail, in dedicated lots, and in some local businesses.
Boat Ramps
Public boat ramps are found on the Trail where visitors can launch kayaks, paddle boards, and small fishing boats.
Tree Groves
Take a break from your hike, bike ride, or exploration in the shade of a native tree at one of the many tree groves located along the Trail.
Ecological Restoration
Ecological restoration efforts on the Trail result from the collaborations of donors, volunteers, and community partners.
ADA Accessible Entrances
We believe everyone should enjoy the trail! ADA-accessible entrances are available and easily marked on the Trail.
