DESCRIPTION:GSI Planting \nThe Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration. \nVolunteers will learn about rain gardens\, their importance to our Trail\, and how to plant and maintain them. TTC will provide materials\, gloves\, and extra water for volunteers. \n\nEvent Details\nRegister Here \n\nMeeting Location: North Shore Overlook – Please look out for an orange TTC sail flag or tent\nParking Information: Street parking is available on both sides along Stephen F. Austin Drive\nWhat to bring and wear: Wear closed-toed shoes\, long pants\, and sun protection (sunglasses and a hat).
