SUMMARY:Restoration Planting | South East Shores
DESCRIPTION:The Trail Conservancy continues to enhance the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail by planting a diversity of native plant species following the invasive work by contractors.  A combination of sedges\, grasses\, and forbs provides a diverse ground cover and suppresses weed pressure while insulating the bank from erosion in regions between the Trail and the Lake. \n\nEvent Details\nRegister Here \n\nMeeting Location: Meet at the TEMPO piece\, “Wavelength: Sky View by Darcie Book on Lakeshore” – Please look for an orange TTC sail flag or tent.\nParking Information: Free street parking is available on South Lakeshore Blvd\nWhat to bring and wear: Wear layers\, closed-toed shoes\, long pants\, and sun protection (sunglasses and a hat).
