DESCRIPTION:GSI Planting \nThe Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration. \nVolunteers will learn about rain gardens\, their importance to our Trail\, and how to plant and maintain them. TTC will provide materials\, gloves\, and extra water for volunteers. \n\nEvent Details\nRegister Here \nThis event is in partnership with the Austin chapter of Latino Outdoors \n\nMeeting Location: East Avenue Rain Garden – Please look for an orange TTC tent or sail flag.\nParking Information: Paid street parking along East Avenue. Free parking is available under I-35 and east of I-35.\nWhat to bring and wear: Wear closed-toed shoes\, long pants\, and sun protection (sunglasses and a hat).
