From your point of view, what sets the Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita Run & Party apart from other races in town?
The Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita Run & Party is a major fundraiser for The Trail Foundation. The event is a celebration and a show of support from all the dedicated Butler Trail users.

How do you see this race/The Trail Foundation fulfilling your company’s mission?
For over 40 years, Luke’s Locker has supported our community with events, activities, races, and through other organizations that provide or promote a healthy lifestyle. Prior to opening the store in 2010, our main objective was to figure out how Luke’s Locker Austin would be able to support The Trail Foundation. We have been able to do this by providing the annual Trail shirt (with 100% of the sales going back to The Trail Foundation). So far, we have raised $75,000 in four years! Also, We are a shirt sponsor of the Maudie’s Moonlight Margarita Run & Party.

Funds raised through your sponsorship will go back to the Trail. What future Trail projects are you most excited for?
Water fountains and restrooms! Also, we have really enjoyed the beautification projects along the Trail and the Johnson Creek Trailhead.

If you had to (not that we would make you choose), would you pick running or margaritas?
Run first! You can always drink later! The other way around does not work well!
