And the best way to do it is out on the Trail. From Mile 1 to Mile 10\, each stop features something special\, showcasing the people\, partners\, and places that make the Butler Trail so beloved. \n					\n									Add to Calendar\n					 \nWhat’s happening along the way:\n\nMile 0 (Auditorium Shores): Learn how to navigate the Trail using our new wayfinding and informational signage\nMile 0.5: Austin Marathon Giveaway & Volunteering\nMile 2 (Johnson Creek Trailhead): Celebrate our run clubs with free snacks and music\nMile 2.5: Enjoy free kayak rentals from our friends at Texas Rowing Center\nMile 3.5: Peek inside the Seaholm Waterfront building\nMile 4.5: Connect with Get There ATX and explore sustainable transportation options\nMile 5 (Rainey Street Trailhead): Take in live music from Adobro\nMile 5.5: Join our weekly Shoreline Stewardship volunteer event\nMile 6: Leave a mark! Plant one plant along the Trail with this Flash Planting activity!\nMile 7: Receive a complimentary bicycle check by Ghisallo\nMile 7.5 (Peace Point): Meet future goats of the Trail at our baby goat petting area \nMile 8 (Lakeshore Exercise Area): Cement your love for the Trail with a commemorative brick or dedicated bench\nMile 9 (Boardwalk): Capture the moment with a Trail-worthy photo opp\n\nOur team will be out at every mile on Saturday\, January 10\, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. \nTo make it even more fun\, pick up a Trail Passport at any stop—visit at least three locations and redeem it for Trail-themed prizes. Come out for a mile or make the whole loop of it. However you join\, we’ll see you on the Trail! \nMap of the Butler Trail\nThe Ann & Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail is a 10-mile loop with over 200 acres of surrounding parkland\,  hosting over 5 million visits every year. DESCRIPTION:Shoreline Stewardship\nJoin The Trail Conservancy in our efforts to restore the shoreline of Lady Bird Lake to a functional ecosystem. In partnership with the city of Austin’s Watershed Protection Department\, Shoreline Stewardship volunteer events are led by TTC’s Park Operations Team and focus on either invasive species management\, native plant seeding and planting\, or maintaining green stormwater infrastructure.  \nWhat: Planting native sedges\, grasses\, and forbs along the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail– no experience necessary! \nWhy: Provides a diverse ground cover and suppresses weed pressure while insulating the bank from erosion in regions between the Trail and the Lake. \nRegister \nEvent Details\nWhere to meet: Holly Shores \nParking  \n\nParking Lots: Camacho & Pedernales Street\nStreet Parking: Jesse E.
