DESCRIPTION:GSI Planting \nThe Trail Conservancy continues to improve floodplain health by installing and maintaining green stormwater infrastructure (rain gardens) along the Trail. These structures reduce the impact of heavy storm flows and improve water infiltration. \nVolunteers will learn about rain gardens\, their importance to our Trail\, and how to plant and maintain them. TTC will provide materials\, gloves\, and extra water for volunteers. \n\nEvent Details\nRegister Here \n\nMeeting Location: The Rock at Town Lake – Please look out for an orange TTC sail flag or tent\nParking Information: Free parking is available on the gravel parking lots under Mopac (north parking lot and south parking)\nWhat to bring and wear: Wear closed-toed shoes\, long pants\, and sun protection (sunglasses and a hat).
